Add new project to an existing branch on CVS from Rational application developer

If you have a new project which you need to add under an existing source code branch e.g. R4_01_27062011, follow the steps outlined below:

• Right click project in Rational application developer (RAD)
• Choose Team → Branch
• Add R4_01_27062011 under branch name as shown below. The version name is filled in automatically for you based on the value you specify for the branch name, so leave it as is. 
• Click Ok
