WebSphere: Datasource exception: java.lang.IllegalAccessError

Problem:

WebSphere throws the exception shown below when testing database connection from administration console

DSRA8040I Failed to connect to the DataSource. Encountered "": java.lang.IllegalAccessError: com/ibm/db2/jcc/am/SqlException.<init>(Lcom/ibm/db2/jcc/am/hm;Ljava/lang/Throwable;)V

Resolution:

WebSphere recycle fixes the problem
